Authority for the protection of personal data:
independent administrative authority established by Law no. 102 of May 3rd, 2005 regarding the establishment, organization and functioning of
the National Supervisory Authority for the processing of personal data.
Personal data:
based on Article 4 (1) (1) of the Regulation it refers to "any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (" the
person concerned "); the natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, with particular reference to an identifier, such as name,
identification number, location data, an online identifier, or one or more characteristics of its physical, physiological, genetic,
psychological, economic, cultural or social identities.
Profiling:
according to art. 4, paragraph 1, no. 4 of the Regulation, it is "any form of automatic processing of personal data consisting of the use of
such personal information to assess certain personal aspects relating to a natural person, in particular to analyze or anticipate aspects of
work performance, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behavior, location or movements of that individual.
Regulation:
EU Regulation 2016/679 of 27th April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement
of such data and which repeals the Directive 95/46 / EC.
Responsible for processing data:
in accordance with art. 4, paragraph 1, no. 8 of the Regulation, it is a "natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body
processing personal data on behalf of the data processor".
Responsible for Processing Data (RPD) or Data Protection Officer (DPO): a person
introduced by the Regulation, who has as main tasks to inform and advise the Owner, Officers and Representatives regarding data protection; to
monitor compliance with the Regulation; to give feedback on the impact assessment on data protection; to cooperate with control authorities.
Data Processing Owner:
according to art. 4, paragraph 1, no. Article 7 of the Regulation, it refers to "a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other
body which, alone or with others, determines the purposes and means of personal data processing.
Personal Data Processing:
in accordance with art. 4, paragraph 1, no. 2 of the Regulation, it is "any operation or set of operations performed with or without automated
processes and applied to personal data or personal data sets such as collecting, recording, organizing, structuring, storing, adaptation or
modification, extraction, consultation, use, communication by transmission, dissemination or any other form of making available, alignment or
interconnection, limitation, erasure or destruction.
